FONASBA/ECASBA

In order to protect the interests of the ship broker and agent on international and European level as well a number of national associations established The Federation of National Associations of Ship Brokers and Agents (FONASBA) in 1969.

In 1990 it was decided to form a sub committee for European matters under the name of
The European Community Association of Ship Brokers and Agents (ECASBA). A Brussel representative was appointed.

VRC is an active  member of both Associations.
