ZIM Netherlands – Inside Sales coordinator


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build, maintain, and manage relationships with customers in the assigned portfolio.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and visits with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Sales Support:

  • Provide quotes to customers and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries.
  • Proactively engage in “cold calls” to expand the customer base and generate new business opportunities.
  • Identify and provide sales leads to other team members to maximize business growth.

Customer Support and Coordination:

  • Serve as the focal point and primary contact for customers within the assigned portfolio, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Finance teams to resolve customer complaints and disputes effectively.

Market Intelligence:

  • Gather market intelligence and insights to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Share relevant market information with the team to support strategic decision-making and business development efforts.

Data Management:

  • Maintain and update customer data in CRM and other internal systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information.


  • Experience in container shipping or forwarding in a sales or customer service position.
  • Proficient MS Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and their applications in managing customer relationships.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English languages for effective communication with customers and team members.
  • Strong team-player with an outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
