CMA CGM Holland – Outside Sales Representative

As part of its growth and development , CMA CGM Holland is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join its Sales team, in the Short Sea Line (SSL) department.


The Outside Sales Representative ensures the accomplishment, enhancement, and exploration of all accounts within their portfolio, covering both exports and imports. They take ownership of customer performance, identify business opportunities, and cultivate new business in alignment with the established business plan and guidelines provided by regional management.


  • Take ownership of sales activities within the assigned portfolio, aligning with the business plan to achieve budgetary goals in both exports and imports.
  • Ensure steady business growth while adhering to profitability standards and group policies.
  • Lead internal stakeholders, providing regular feedback to ensure alignment, engagement, and motivation among the team.
  • Analyze statistical data to identify business opportunities within the assigned accounts.
  • Utilize CRM to input accurate key information in a timely manner, maintaining data quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Provide regular and accurate information for commercial forecasting, closely monitoring and adjusting for any deviations.
  • Develop a proactive activity plan for the week, anticipating needs, scenarios, and strategic demands.
  • Cover 100% of customers within the portfolio as CV, managing information for UCV.
  • Build a steady and professional communication channel with all stakeholders.
  • Promote joint initiatives with group companies, such as CEVA and MERCOSUL LINE, whenever required.
  • Represent and promote the company at relevant events such as trade fairs, seminars, and events promoted by customers or official entities related to the business segment.
  • Take ownership of promoting Multimodal activities, including Carrier Haulage and Agent Haulage, while achieving goals set by management.
  • Be accountable for golden rule tasks outlined in targets, including sales calls, sales leads, and CMA CGM+ initiatives.


  • Education in Business Administration or related.
  • Minimum 5 years of Industry Experience.
  • Good level of Microsoft Office, CRM tools.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, spoken and written is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated commitment with high professional ethical standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Negociation and Business Knowledge
